Inside Staff Internship​​​​​

• Seven Month Internship

• Approximately 40-45 hrs per week

• 4-day set schedule work week

• Work occasional Monday outings throughout the season for additional pay

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all aspects of merchandising, including - selecting, receiving and placing special orders; managing inventory levels; creating golf shop displays

• Facilitate weekly events for golf members and their guests

• Deliver instruction to junior camps at least once a week during the summer

• Perform behind the counter transactions to reconcile and monitor the tee sheet and open course sales transactions

• Engage in coversation with members and guests on the first tee to ensure their Cricket Club experience is enhanced while maintaining pace of play guidelines

• Play golf, on average, once a week with members to build a stronger staff-membership relationship

 

 

Outside Staff Internship​​​

• Three Month internship

• Approximately 40-45 hrs per week

• 3 day set schedule workweek (4 days off)

• Will also work occasional Monday outings for additional pay

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all aspects of outside operations to ensure that each member and guest is receiving the best experience possible

• Assist with weekly events for golf members and their guests

• Deliver instruction to junior camps at least once a week during the summer

• Exposure to back-office operations with caddie assignments, payments, planning and organization of all aspects of the outside operation

• Engage in conversation with members and guests to ensure their Cricket Club experience is enhanced

• Greet members when arriving by introducing yourself and helping them load their bags

Teaching Internship

• Three Month Internship​

• Approximately 40-45 hrs per week

• 5-7 days a week

Responsibilities

• Teach and plan the summer-long junior golf program at St. Martins. The program is from 9:00am - 2:00pm Monday-Friday. 

• Shadow all instructors to gain a different perspective of teaching.

• Practice and play all three courses.

• Assist with teaching weekly junior clinics.

• Teach private lessons to students of all ages.
